Lily's Kitchen
Cue The Dinner Dance

TVC

From pre-production to final TVC delivery, I have been managing this project for the entire duration. I'm also the main editor, motion graphics designer on this project. Worked closely with the film director and senior creatives, I edited the video for story telling, created all the doodles and other GFX, motion tracking the pack, roto scoping, UE 5 rendering for end frame, and supplied clocking versions for Clearcast and Peach for final TVC delivery.

ROTO TEST

In the pre-production phase, I have been assisting the producer on scoping based on the project complexity. One of the main consideration was how long it would take to rotoscope a pet in the worst case scenario. So I went ahead and roto a white flurry and fluffy white cat, which surprising was quite straight forward, which has given the whole team and the client a great confident on their casting.

During the shoot, I worked closely with the DIT to ensure myself and the producer have everything that we require, including all the correct format Raw footages, and I have also been transcoding them into Proxies for motion testing. One of the shot I tested was the main product tracking shot, as the plan for client is after the TVC edits are fully signed off, we will share our project file with the European market to roll out the pack. In order to do this, the product will need to be tracked properly, and be able for them to replace the asset.

In which, I have made decision of which pack to use for tracking, as well as guiding their hand gesture, movement and camera position. After shooting the pack shot, I quickly tested the footage in AE, and it all worked well. Moreover, I have also produced a rough edits on set to show the clients. They were very happy about the result and reassurance.

Post-production
process

After ingesting the footages, I produced assembly and string for the film director to make her selects. Then I have been working on the main edits, motion graphics GFX, motion tracking, end frame animation including 3D renders on Unreal Engine 5, and of course rotoscoping the pets and created all the lovely wiggles animation.

Final delivery

After everything has been signed off by the client, I had also worked on packaging them up, and produced clocking versions to clearcast for approval, and to supply PEACH for final TVC delivery, this also includes multiple audio-description channels.
